Budburst Wine Festival - November 13th and 14th 2010
An annual event, where the region ‘bursts’ into life celebrating the new grape growing season. Wine-makers and Vignerons open their wineries, vineyards and cellar doors for sampling of premium wine and delicious food.
At MorganField you’ll be tempted by our award winning wines: Unwooded Chardonnay(bronze medal), Chardonnay( 94 points-Halliday), Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon (bronze medal) and the new 2008 Sparkling Cabernet Sauvignon.
Try a delicious plate of BBQ steak with a glass of Pinot Noir, or perhaps a cheese platter with a sparkling Cabernet Sauvignon.
Food....the perfect feast to enjoy whilst listening to live music by local bands. On Saturday Josie Waldron will be singing sultry blues and Sunday the boys from Kaleidoscope will simply be going with the flow! You'll be tempted by our home made Greek desserts and other tasty home made treats, perfect for the sweet tooth! Our cellar door has a warm indoor tasting room and a scenic outdoor courtyard. Come and admire the country views and you may even get a chance to meet some of our local resident farm animals: Callum our Clydie, Mica our Shetland, Lace & Boo our Jack Russells, and the list goes on!
